Ultraviolet rays damage collagen fibers and cause an abnormal production of elastin, which is reflected in atrophic and aged skin. Using sunscreen regularly is essential if we want to avoid sagging, wrinkles, and imperfections of skin pigmentation.
  • No Smoking: Tobacco not only harms health, but it also has harmful effects on the skin. Smoking decreases vitamin A levels, which negatively affects the quantity and quality of collagen and elastin in the dermis. It is responsible for the dehydration of the skin, giving it a rough, brittle appearance and a pale tone, due to the lack of oxygenation of the cells. Smoking also causes the appearance of expression lines around the mouth.
  • Sleep well: During the night, the production of collagen is stimulated, responsible for repairing skin cells. Therefore, sleeping well and resting directly affect the state of the skin.
